did you ever find yourself in a place of uncertainty? a place you know you needed to be, still you’re unclear what the next step is. it’s a place of rest, yet a place of restlessness. the rest comes from Jesus and His promise to be the refuge one can run to in a time of distress. simply resting in the arms of Christ is the most peaceful place you can ever be. the restlessness, however, comes from the anticipation that there’s another assignment on the horizon. an assignment to go, and be His hands and feet…to a world that doesn’t know God, nor cares or desires to pursue Him. a restlessness because of the desire that burns in my heart to live each day for His purposes and His plans. a restlessness because my soul longs for that which I cannot attain in my own power.
